I know it's a little late but...

I've decided my new New Year's resolution is to gradually switch over to using more natural and organic products. I really like using all of the method products to clean with. After reading their book about detoxing your home (I can't remember the exact name of it, it's something like that.) I can't stand the thought of cleaning with pesticides, and I'm starting to pay more attention to what I put on my own skin and in my body.
I started using Live Clean shampoo, I just found it at the grocery store, it's the same price as normal shampoo. If you do one good thing for yourself this year, switch to a sulfate free shampoo. Sulfates are in just about every shampoo, even the one's that say "natural". They strip your hair of natural oils and dry it out, ultimatley making your hair produce more oil than necesary. I've always had to shampoo first thing in the morning because I thought my hair was so oily. But since switching to this shampoo I often go two days without washing it. Live Clean shampoo's and conditioner are made of 100% vegan and organic ingredients and are filled with natural botanicals. There's no parabens or sulfates. And they smell like cotton candy, bonus. I will never use an ordinary shampoo again. I know I'm rambling on about a shampoo but it's amazing.
Other things I am going to start buying from the natural ingredient section are body wash, body lotion, face wash, and dishwasher soap. Basically everything I put on my skin (except the dishwasher soap). There are some things I'm not willing to give up though, like my Clinique moisturizer and my Secret Flawless deoterant. Finding a moisturizer when you have skin like mine is hard, and once you do you don't give it up :)
