Im... complaining

I am so sore and tired. I went to a really good hardcore show last night in Olympia but it really screwed me over for three reasons.
1.) I got home at 1:30 and had to get up at 5:30 for work. This is making me quite tired.
2.) My feet hurt. When I woke up this morning I regretted standing up at the show for so long because I couldnt move my feet, then standing at work for 6 hours made that a lot worse, obviously.
3.) The stinkin venue was so small I got pushed into the mosh pit and got kicked a couple times and punched in the mouth. This is making the rest of my body sore if it wasnt already. (My foot problem makes my calves hurt and my back and neck muscles are always really sore too)
Oh yah, I am also developing really bad alergies (thanks Mom) and I am really congested. All of this is making me really miserable. So basically I am just a big whiner! Hopefully none of you have to see me tomorrow!

Dashboard Confessional has never gotten old, with their new cd "The Shade of Poison Trees" they prove that good musicians only get better with age, not worse.
So many artists sell out or try too hard to change their style over the years, but Dashboard has stayed true to the melodic and emotional songs they first started with.
I LOVE their new CD, any music lover can appreciate it, so go out and buy it. (Or buy it for your best friend for their birthday, and then steal it from them!)

Picking up enthusiasm for going back to school has been hard. My biggest problem: IT'S TOO COLD! I hate being cold, and luckily we have an outdoor campus, it drives me crazy.
The second problem is: I'm a sleeper. Ask anyone, trying to wake me up is like trying to raise the dead. I guess I'm just always tired? I told my mom when school starts I am going to start taking sleeping pills everynight at like... 8:30 and hopefully I will be able to get up at 6am.
I am going to try though, don't get me wrong. Im not just going to go back with a bad attitude and not try, I will.
It's just so cold there...

and it's only 11:18am!
I went to the chiropractor at 9:15 this morning. A lot of you don't know this about me but my back/neck hurts ALL THE TIME!! So going to the chiropractor is something I love doing, nothing feels better than no pain.
Then I went and registered for classes at the high school... oiy. Im not too excited about going back, but that is a check on my to-do list. I'll be taking English, U.S. History, Biology, some weird computer math, health, and leadership.
My mom and I worked out a deal: she will buy me tanning minutes every month I have good grades. So we started a little early and I bought minutes and went tanning today, it felt soo nice to sit in the heat for a few minutes.
So that's my day so far. Today is also pay day, a bonus of course.

Im not gonna lie, I love alone time.
I love it equally to time spent with others.
When I have alone time I like to do several things...
* spend too much time on myspace, usually changing things around, this is something I really enjoy
* update my americaneagle.com wish list. im a girl
* read magazines that I've read 10 times already
* write in my journal [this has gotten quite rare over the months]
* clean my room or do laundry
Matt and I have been together basically for the past two weeks, which of course I totally loved. So now it's good to have some time all to myself, the first in a while.

here's an update in the life of ME

I guess I am going back to Shelton high school at the end of this month when the new semester starts. Last quarter at the college didnt go so well for me. The schedule was great, but Im sure as most of you know, school doesnt really hold my enthusiasm. Im not really sure how the rest of the year at the high school will be, I'm at least excited to see my friends more often.
Starbucks is bitter-sweet. I love working there, but now that the holidays are over Im only getting 4 hours a week. [at least that's what my schedule is for the next two weeks, and I dont think it's going to get much better]. I dont want to leave Starbucks because I know right now Im at the bottom of the chain and I need to work my way up to get more hours, but in the meantime I need to find an additional job to support myself. Im stumped as far as where to look for one.
I know a lot of people think new years resolutions are stupid, but I am not one of them. I love the idea of taking a good look at your life after a long year and take note of the areas in your life that have slipped. Matt and I made a resolution today [at McDonalds] to stop spending money on coffee and fastfood. We did the math and figured we spend about $140 a month together on these things. This is a huge resolution for both of us, but I think seeing that number really opened our eyes to how much money we're wasting.
We also bought the full first season of Lost a couple days ago, and it's AMAZING! I know I waited a little long to jump on the Lost bandwagon, but I would definitley say better late than never! We're finished with the season, so if you want to borrow it, OR if you have season two, just call me.
