God has answered our prayers! (I think)

Since Matt was laid off for a month from Dec-Jan. money has been a little "tight". He's just been back to work a couple weeks now and the bills are steadily pouring in. The other day I was very stressed (when I got all the bills) and no sooner was I running my mouth about how bad this was Matt noticed a message on our voicemail from a woman who wants me to watch her kids... 5 days a week. Needless to say that was ironic, but if you're a Christian I'm sure you've experienced something similar.
I didn't even have TIME to pray about my worries. Almost as if God was like "okay before you even START whining here you go." Just kidding, I know God loves me and my whining :-)
It's been 7 months since I've worked though, and I forgot about how nervous commitment (to a job) made me. Before I started at Urraco and Starbucks I was TERRIFIED. I think I stayed up all night the night before I had to start running through everything in my mind. That's just how I am.
Nonetheless no amount of nervous feelings or worry can sway me from this truly wonderful opportunity. I have been praying for months that God would open up a door for me to feel more useful and bring in an income and here he has provided. Praise the Lord for he is good!
On a more serious note...
If you have not read the Twilight series you need to, this is not a joke.
I have read a lot of fiction books and book series and this tramples them all to bits. I'm sure you've heard a lot about these books or even seen Twilight the movie, but you need to check them out for yourself. Here are a few great things about these books...
1) They deal with mythological creatures in a non-lame, even glorified way. It makes the world of vampires and werewolves so desirable and real, NOT sci-fi at all.
2) They deal with high school age kids in a non-lame way (which is RARE!). The two main characters of the book ARE in high school but the majority of the content of the books takes place outside of high school and high school aged people, places, and activities. This ISN'T a "tween" book, which I hate, so don't let your assumptions keep you from reading it. Matt is reading them, and he really likes them too!
3) Stephanie Meyer is an AMAZING writer, seriously, where does she come up with this stuff? These books will take you on so many intense twists and turns that you never see coming. You finish one book and you think 'how could anything cooler happen in the next book?' But it does!
I just read the fourth (and last book) last night, and it is the best book I've read in my entire life. So just do it.
